The family of a community pharmacist who died from Covid this month have set up a fund in her name to raise money to build classrooms in schools in impoverished areas of Pakistan.

Sana Masood was a pharmacist who worked at Neil's Pharmacy in Liverpool for six years. She passed away on April 1 at the age of 30.

Her family set up the online fund in her memory and said the classrooms will provide orphans and needy children “with a suitable environment to learn.”

“Sana was a beautiful soul who was so selfless and pure. She was loved by so many and has left a massive hole in everyone's hearts,” the family said.

In a Facebook post, Neil's Pharmacy said they had “lost one of the most kind and generous souls we knew” and the team there were “utterly heartbroken.”
